I do have a question. The part where the little white stuff around the edges of the shimeji is erased, I gave it a try with microsoft paint like mentioned above, but I can't seem to save it to be a transparent image. How did you do that? Also, this has to be by far the most crystal clear and understandable tutorial I've come across. Great job and a million thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for this! I've always tried to make my own shimeji, but the tutorials I had found previous either made no sense, or were just way out of my artistic league haha. It's really easy to understand and your shimeji are so cute! Thank you!

What exactly do you mean when you say we should use another's shimeji as a base?

Sorry, I'm making a shimeji now, and I have a question. I'm trying to solve the transparency problem using Microsoft Paint. But how do I solve it, actually?

Down load a program like Paint.net and erase the white.
Ms Paint doesn't support transparency.

I know this is a stupid question, but how do you fix the fuzzy white pixels? I tried by using MSPaint, but it turned my whole background black >.<

this tutorial was very helpful, but I have a question. I've made a shimeji, but whenever it moves, there's a big black BOX around it. any idea what this is, or what I can do about it? If you don't, I understand.

If you want to you can download gimp here [link] it's very useful if you're working with paint tool sai and don't have photoshop. Ok, so once you've saved your picture as .png and opened it in paint you'll sometimes notice these little parts where the color seems to have gone outside the lines. To erase them you'll have then to go back to your original picture, grab the eraser tool and just use it on the areas paint had showed the pixels to be. You just keep repeating this until they're all gone when you open the picture in paint again. Is this better or do you need any more specific details?

Je peux te mettre le lien d'où j'ai téléchargé paint tool sai si t'as pas encore trouvé un bon site ;w;

Mais bon, pour répondre à ta question, on ne fête pas vraiment l'épiphanie ici. Tout le monde connaît cette fête mais on ne la fête pas, c'est dingue. Quand j'étais petite et allais encore à l'école en Belgique je festoyais toujours avec mes amis belges. Là-bas les enfants vont de porte en porte avec des lampions en chantant une chanson sur les trois rois. Pour ça ils reçoivent des bonbons, je l'aimais beaucoup. ;w;

I didn't make the original shimeji script, [link] this thingy was the first shimeji and the creator of that one also made the script. If you do want to alter certain things, like the length of animations or make the shimeji blink, I'd like to direct you to this tutorial: [link] I also learned how to make shimeji blink using this tutorial, it really helps to understand the scripting a little better.
